About the CMFB - Membership

The Members of the Committee are senior statisticians from the National Statistical Institutes and National Central Banks of the countries of the European Economic Area (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom). The European Commission and the European Central Bank are also Members of the Committee.

EFC (previously Monetary Committee) is an observer as are Turkey, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, as well as the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
